44 first-class events abroad are scheduled for 2024. Highlights include the first IFAT Brasil in April, Singapore Water Week in June, electronica India and productronica India, both in September, bauma China in November and ASEAN Ceramics in december in Vietnam.
International business is an important pillar for Messe München. The 2023 events performed well above plan. China and India far exceed expectations. China is and remains one of Messe München's most important growth and focus markets. Messe München is represented in China with 23 events in seven locations and in India with 18 trade fairs in five cities. A new addition is Singapore: the gateway to Southeast Asia. With transport logistic and air cargo Southeast Asia, Messe München will have the first multimodal logistics trade fair in the logistics world champion city of Singapore in 2023.
