As one of the world’s largest trade fair companies, with 11 World's Leading Trade Fair and in total around 70 trade fairs for capital goods, consumer goods and new technologies, Messe München sets new standards for innovation, flexibility and networking people. Alongside world's leading trade fairs such as bauma or electronica, Messe München is constantly expanding its portfolio. At our location in Munich we host trade fairs, conferences and high-quality events.

Messe München is very successful in its domestic market in Munich as well as in other countries. It is active in all important growth markets: China, India, Brazil and Turkey. Overall, Messe München, with its network of associ-ated companies and foreign agencies, is present in more than 130 countries.

Alongside renowned leading trade fairs such as bauma, electronica, IFAT or BAU, Messe München holds numerous events of its own not only in Germany but also abroad, both for trade visitors and the general public. The succesful trade fairs for the general public in Germany include, for example, f.re.e, the annual trade fair for travel and leisure.

Our many years of experience in trade fair and conference business, as well as around 70 offices worldwide and a network of associated companies in Europe, Asia and South America make us – Messe München – a successful global player in the event sector.

Through collaboration, Messe München supports innovative topics, thus expanding its network. Our portfolio is supplemented by IAA Mobility, which is organized together with the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), and our participation in Bits&Pretzels.

With various world-leading trade fairs, Messe München provides the international audience with a joint platform for innovations, a constructive, creative and specialist exchange, and far-reaching perspectives. Messe München offers an industry meeting place with its leading trade fairs for an extensive range of specialist fields. They also include the international leading trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles and construction equipment – bauma for short. Every three years, it presents the most groundbreaking innovations and latest trends in the construction machinery industry. In addition, Messe München holds a host of world-leading trade fairs as events of its own, such as electronica, analytica, automatica, BAU, drinktec and many more.

With the trade fairs abroad, Messe München offers a stage for an expert exchange at international level and promotes networking beyond national country borders. Thanks to the Messe München subsidiaries in Europe, Asia and South America, and around 70 offices worldwide, we have set up an international network that allows us to hold numerous trade fairs abroad and expand our core areas – capital goods, consumer goods and new technologies – beyond the boundaries of Bavaria.

For example, our subsidiary Messe München India – founded in 2007 – has rapidly grown into a leading organizer of trade fairs in India. Among the most successful trade fairs organized directly in India are IFAT India, electronica/productonica India and Indian Ceramics.

In 2022, our subsidiary MMI Asia organized analytica Vietnam, one of the leading trade fairs in the field of analysis, laboratory technology and biotechnology in Vietnam, and ASEAN Ceramics (Vietnam) itself for the first time.

ISPO Beijing was then the long-awaited prelude to further trade fair highlights in China, such as productronica China and IE expo China in April, Vision China Beijing in May, or analytica China, electronica China and LASER World of PHOTONICS CHINA in July.

In November 2022, air cargo Miami was held for the first time under the direction of Messe München.

At the Munich location, Messe München holds conferences and conventions, and offers a conference venue with its ICM – International Congress Center Messe München; for smaller conferences and trade fairs, the MOC – Event Center Messe München is the ideal location. Messe München enables conferences and lecture series – also to accompany or supplement a trade fair – that have their finger on the pulse and are characterized by their topicality and leading expertise. Modern conference rooms, flexible room solutions and spacious conference rooms offer the ideal requirements for conferences and conventions at national and international level.

Messe München will once again be hosting a large number of trade shows in 2023. The trade fairs kicked off in February 2023 with f.re.e., Bavaria's largest travel and leisure trade fair, INHORGENTA MUNICH, Europe's leading platform for jewelry, watches and gemstones, and LOPEC, the leading international event for printed electronics. Among other things, BAU - the world's leading trade fair for architecture, materials, systems - will then take place again in April in all 18 halls. In addition, abroad, MMI Asia hosts analytica Vietnam and ASEAN Ceramics (Vietnam) itself for the first time.
