We mourn the loss of our Supervisory Board Chairman, Hubert Aiwanger

“It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Hubert Aiwanger, Chairman of our Supervisory Board. We are deeply saddened by this news. Hubert Aiwanger had close ties to Messe München and was a defining figure for our company. As a long-standing member of the Supervisory Board, which he chaired on several occasions, he guided and supported our company’s development with foresight, dedication, and great expertise. The Bavarian economy and Munich as a trade fair destination were clearly important to him and close to his heart. We appreciated his approachable manner and his deep interest in the topics and the people involved. Messe München has lost a great supporter. We will miss his advice, his dedication, and his commitment.
Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.”

Messe München is one of the world's leading trade fair organisers with a broad portfolio of trade fairs, congresses and events. This includes 14 of the world's leading trade fairs, the world's largest industry events: analytica, automatica, BAU, bauma, ceramitec, electronica, IFAT, Laser World of Photonics, LOPEC, productronica, transport logistic, World of Quantum, drinktec and ISPO.

The company offers exhibitors and visitors worldwide platforms for establishing international business relationships, discovering new products and technologies and exchanging knowledge. Successful trade fairs for the general public in Germany include, for example, the annual travel and leisure trade fair f.re.e.
