Art and culture reveal new perspectives

Communication and creativity are essential components of the trade fair industry. That’s why we included artwork in the design of the New Munich Trade Fair from its beginning. They accompany our exhibitors, visitors, and employees and have become permanent components of trade fair life.

“Gran Paradiso” – Mountains and water play with geographical identities

Two objects by the Munich artist Stephan Huber shape the lakes in front of the New Munich Trade Fair’s West Entrance. In the words of the artist: “These works of art should give an identity to both the area in front of the exhibition grounds and the surrounding vicinity”.

  • The southern part of the lake is home to a twelve-meter high shelf with 29 alpine peaks made of bright artificial stone. They are arranged in alphabetical order from the upper left to the lower right.
  • In a five-meter high showcase in the northern part of the lake, representations of 12 large rivers and lakes in the Alps shine in neon blue. They are arranged with respect to their geographical directions.Stephan Huber’s website Stephan Huber´s website

Space for lively Bach renditions

  • Messe München International supports Munich’s Bach Choir in the best possible way: by providing practice space. This also allows us to literally bring our employees closer to the dignified and modern sounds of the songs and orchestra. Munich Bach Choir´s website
