1. Where can I find the dates of the various fairs and exhibitions? |

- On the Internet: There are several ways to search for the dates of our fairs and exhibitions on our website:
- All events can be found using the comprehensive search function under "Trade fairs and events".
- You can access "All events from A to Z" using the search window in the upper
right corner of each page.
- The next five events are listed in the menu area on the right
of the screen. Click on the name of the event or the logo to call up a
brief description of the event in question.
- You may also use the general "Search" function in the menu area on the left.
- By phone: Information about all fairs and exhibitions hosted by Munich International Trade Fairs is available by calling our central trade fair hotline at +49 (0)89 9 49-2 07 20.

2. How can I get more detailed information about specific fairs and exhibitions? |

- On the Internet: You can call up information for exhibitors,
visitors or journalists at the website of the event in question. The
website can be called up using the search function under "Trade fairs and events".
- By phone: Information about all fairs and exhibitions hosted by Munich International Trade Fairs is available by calling our central trade fair hotline at +49 (0)89 9 49-2 07 20.
- Information materials for the various fairs may be ordered:

3. During what hours are the various events open? |
 |
- The Internet: The exact opening hours can be found on the
website of the event in question via the function "All events from A to
Z" at the upper right or under "Trade fairs and events".
- By telephone: Information regarding the opening hours for a given event is also available by calling our central trade fair hotline at +49 (0)89 9 49-2 07 20.

4. Where can I order the current catalog for a fair or exhibition? |
 |
- During fairs and exhibitions you can purchase the exhibition catalog at the box offices at the entrance(s) and at the information stands in the halls.
- Before or after the fair you can request an appropriate order form by telephone. Please remember that, as a rule, catalogs can only be shipped to you if paid for in advance. To make payment, simply enter your credit-card number on the form, sign it and return it to us by fax. (Note: procedures vary from event to event)

5. Where can I find information about special events or conferences? |

- On the Internet: Information about related special events, conferences and congresses is available on the website of the trade fair in question. In most cases, it can be found under "Related-events program".
- By telephone: Information about related special events, conferences and congresses is available by calling the hotline of the trade fair in question.
- Information about events and conferences at the International Congress Centre
Munich (ICM) is available at the ICM website. |
6. What is the price of admission for the various fairs and exhibitions? |
 |
- On the Internet: Information regarding admission prices and possible discounts is available on the website for the event in question.
- By telephone: Information regarding admission prices and possible discounts is also available by calling the hotline for the event in question.

7. What is a "restricted admission" fair for trade representatives? |
 |
- "Restricted admission" trade fairs are only open to a select group of trade representatives.
The Exhibitor Advisory Board determines who belongs to the group of
trade visitors and how they will officially register for the fair.
Trade visitors are only permitted to register if they can provide proof
that they are a member of the branches of industry being admitted to
the fair.
- These fairs and exhibitions are only open to a select group of trade visitors. The branches of industry that are admitted are listed on the websites of the events in question.

8. How do I register for a fair? |
 |
- Registering for fairs and exhibitions:
Visitors may register online 2-3 months before the beginning of the fair on the website for the respective fair.
If you register in advance, you save time otherwise spent waiting in
line when you arrive at the fair. - Registering for "restricted admission" trade fairs:
To
register for "restricted admission" trade fairs, visitors must prove
that they belong to one of the sectors being admitted to the event in
question. Additional information is available at the event's website.

9. What is a guest ticket/e-guest ticket? |
 |
Exhibitors can have a guest ticket/e-guest ticket sent to their customers. Visitors who have a guest ticket/e-guest ticket are admitted to the fair free of charge. The exhibitor pays the price of admission.
At trade fairs where admission is restricted
to trade representatives, visitors may only redeem their guest
ticket/e-guest ticket if they belong to the group of trade
representatives being admitted to the fair and can provide appropriate
proof. |
10. What is an online ticket voucher? |
 |
An online ticket voucher is a voucher for an admission ticket that the visitor can redeem in exchange for their admission ticket when they arrive at the fair. |
11. How do I get to the New Munich Trade Fair Centre/ICM? |
 |

16. Where can I find suitable parking? |
 |
- Ample parking is available at the trade-fair center. The traffic-guidance system will guide you to free parking spaces. Parking for the handicapped is available near the entrances. Detailed information can be found under "Getting there".
- Parking spaces for campers/caravans may be used during some events. Information is available at the website of or by calling the hotline of the event(s) in question.
- In any case, the traffic guidance system at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre will guide you to the events and corresponding parking areas.

17. Where are the taxi stands located? |
 |
Taxi stands are located at all entrances to the Munich Trade Fair Centre and in front of the ICM - International Congress Centre Munich. |
18. Can you recommend a hotel? |
 |
- An extensive selection of hotels, lodges and guest
houses near the New Munich Trade Fair Centre/Congress Centre Munich
(ICM) can be found at the website under "Your stay in Munich" and in our hotel guide under www.messehotelfuehrer.de.
Sorted according to hotel name, category, location, price, distance to
the trade-fair center and service facilities, you are certain to find
suitable accommodations that meet your needs.

19. Is there a meeting point that everyone can easily recognize? |
 |
A meeting point where people can meet is located behind the turnstiles in each entry area. It is a red pillar with the words "Meeting Point" on it. But remember: it is important that everyone agrees to meet at the same entrance: East, West or North. |
20. Where can I check my coat or luggage? |
 |
All of the entrances to the New Munich Trade Fair Centre – East, West and North – have a coat check where you can check your coat or luggage for a fee of EUR 1.50 per item. |
21. Can I use the WLAN at the trade-fair center? |
 |
Yes! All you need is a standard computer (with Win98, Win2000 or WinXP) and a WLAN Connect Card from the company M3 Connect GmbH, an official partner of Munich International Trade Fairs. You may purchase a WLAN Connect Card at any information counter at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre. |
22. Is the New Munich Trade Fair Centre equipped for handicapped visitors? |

The New Munich Trade Fair Centre was designed and built to accommodate the needs of the handicapped. Please contact us by telephone or e-mail to inquire about special admission prices and parking alternatives, as they vary depending on the event.
Wheel chairs are available at the entrances to the event in question. We recommend calling the hotline number for the event you are attending to make a reservation. |
23. Are child-care facilities available at the trade-fair center? |

Child-care facilities vary, depending on the event. Information is available by calling the hotline for the event in question. |
24. May visitors bring their dogs to events? |
 |
Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted on the grounds of the New Munich Trade Fair Centre, in the International Congress Center Munich (ICM) or at the M,O,C,. There are not enough grassy areas where they can be taken for walks. |
25. How can I have things delivered to an exhibitor in one of the halls? |
 |

When addressing postal deliveries, please be absolutely sure to use the complete address:

- Deliveries by freight forwarder/courier:
During the fair, delivery vehicles may enter the trade-fair center through the gate nearest to the exhibitor's hall against a deposit of EUR 100 and for a maximum stay of one hour. |
26. Can exhibitors who are in the halls be reached by telephone? |

Exhibitors who have telephone connections at their stands can be reached by calling our telephone switchboard at (+49 89) 9 49-2 07 20 and having the operator connect you. |
27. How can I apply for a job at Munich International Trade Fairs? |
